Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian - opening sequence
- The movie starts with the official Walt Disney pictures and then Walden Media.
- The movie then starts with eclipse as shown.
- By using the aerial shot the scene slowly moves at first from the eclipse towards the castle with a slow mysterious type of music.
- The music then fades away with a women screaming and crying. The camera then moves quite fast towards the castle into the room where the women screaming and crying.
- The shot is then shifted from the women crying and screaming to another women who is putting pressure on her head as to calm her down.
- It's shown that a women entering the room with towel and with a jug of water (as presumed by the audiences), who hurries towards the bed where the fourth women is.
- The fourth women then asks for the towel with the women screaming because of the pain during pregnancy after a few seconds she calms down as the baby is born.
- The baby is then crying on the arms of the fourth women who is there smiling in happiness because of the birth of a child
- Slowly the fourth women hands over the baby to his/her mother while the baby still crying whereas the mother is very happy and smiling and then hugging her/him.
- The room is then shown with the three women standing near the bed while the mother is resting with the baby in her arms.
- The scene then shifts to the gate of a room in the castle with a man (solider) coming inside and going towards another man who is standing near the window looking outside.
- During this scene the surrounding is shown.
- Then the man who was entering is shown in a medium shot, then shifting to the man near the window showing him looking at the moon.
- At 1:50 the man's face is half shown
- And again goes back to the man (solider) by using the shot reverse shot.
- The scene then shifts to the corridor of the castle where we see a solider coming out of a room looking suspicious and checking if anyone was there or not.
- As he goes an old man in a clock is running towards the room from where the solider came out, in mysterious way.
- The old man comes into the room and as soon as he comes near the bed he first put his hand on the person sleeping, who at first grasps but as he sees that it is professor and gets relived.
- They have little conversation through which the audience finds out that he is the prince.
- The prince then is hiding in a cupboard which has a hidden passage while inside the cupboard he sees many soliders coming in inside his room and surrounding the bed, ready to shoot arrows in order to kill the prince.
- In the background the music is at first with the bird chirping out load and as they finish shooting arrows a sign of relieve music is there.
- The prince then hurriedly goes down the stairs with the professor.
- The next shot is shown as the prince taking all the equiments required for a solider.
- The next scene is shown as the prince sitting on a horse
- The title sequence then starts to play
- As the prince is riding with credits going on there are fireworks as the prince's aunt gave birth to a son.

Research on Psychological Horror
What is a Psychological horror?
It is one of the sub genre of horror fiction. These are often based on video games [as a narrative for example 'Resident Evil' (1996)]. This mainly relies on the characters' fears and emotional instability to up the tension for the audiences. There even novels based films in this genre for example Psycho (film) is directed by Alfred Hitchcock which is actually based on the novel with the same title by Robert Bloch.
